Just a few blocks from our apartment is President Grant's Tomb. The building is magnificent and it reminds me of something you would see in Washington D. C. But here it is instead, in the middle of Riverside Park just a few minutes from where we are. I've passed it probable a dozen times now and we finally decided to go in today. Here it is in the background as we walk up to it.
Here is our street. Our building is down on the left about halfway down the block. Up ahead you can see the bridge where the subway crosses. I'm very glad that the subway is so close.
