Times Square and Toys R Us

Today the kids and I met Mike in Times Square after he got off work. It was so fun and exciting to be there because it is always bustling with activity. No matter what time you go the sidewalks are crowded with all types of people. We'll have to come back again at night though to see all of the lights.

Here's just an example of the types of things you might see in NYC at any moment.

The Toys R Us in Times Square is HUGE!! It has a three story ferris wheel in it that, of course, the kids had to go on. I've never seen so many toys in once place at one time.

The kids and I on the ferris wheel. They loved it although Makenzie was slightly concerned that Daddy wasn't on it too.

This dinosaur looked so real. It moved and roared. This is typical for Tyler- he's putting his hand over his ears. Maknenzie on the other hand wanted to stay and watch the dinosaur all night. Every time it roared she roared right along with it.

This Toys R Us had about the biggest Thomas the Tank Engine play area that I've ever seen. I think they used every Thomas part ever made to build this train set.

Tyler on the way home- all worn out!!
(but happy because he has a new toy)
